Subject: Speed Kills! Drive a Ford

Ashburn, GA, (very close to Heaven!)

Speed Kills! Drive a Ford and live forever! Laughing

In the late 70's, my finance's friend let me drive her new Trans Am Firebird, and we hit about 130 mph with more to go, got scared and slowed back down.

My own "hot" vehicle was a plain old, mildly "sup'd up", 70 Olds Cutlass (not 4-4-2). Once a week I would max it out at 122 mph (est, just a little past the 120 on the speedometer).

Speed and horsepower are like a drug. You get a little bit of the feeling, the high, the rush, and have to do it again. Also like a drug, it's scarey. It's a good thing I've never had anything really fast.
