Rode 140(ish) in an anniversary SS Camaro. Same general vintage as that z28. Lots of fun, I would agree completely on the factory suspension.
Drove 145 in a 2001 Mustang GT with an aftermarket Whipple (?) super charger. It still had something in it as well, but it became very apparent restraint is the better part of valor. That was at night, don't so much remember what the engine was turning. Don't recall much about the ride, but I know the car rode better at a hundy than 65 from prior and more sane experiences. I do know we [3 of us] deserved to die that night. All in the same car. Made impression on all 3 of us, car was traded on a powerstroke shortly after. No cops involved, thank God. We would probably still be in jail.
My Powerstroke governs at around 90 and it sees that pretty frequently.
