| Well, our church had a $10,000 GM bond and trust me, we prayed over that bond a lot. Long story short, we were told if they go broke, we might get $.50 cents on the dollar in a couple years after the assets are evaluated. Fortunately, the bond matured in January and we got our money and GM paid the interest quarterly as expected. Now we are sweating out a Ford bond that matures in 2012.
Not sure on your stock, but I would think since assets remain and have a value, there is something to claim eventually. | |
