Mavic 2 all the way, the automated follow modes are much improved over older Mavic and Phantoms.
The Mavic 2 gimbal is sturdier than original mavic which was literally hanging on rubber bands and vulnerable.
Phantom 4 is probably a bit more robust and crash proof at the expense of needing a suitcase to carry it about, and increased set up time - props on/off is almost obligatory. The smaller Mavic Air is good too if you aren't planning to fly out far.



Thanks for the info. Based on what I’ve read so far, I’d probably go with the Mavic 2. However, I have no doubt I would find away to crash the drone and the Phantom looks like it has less parts to fly off/break in a crash!
