There is nothing to it with the mainstream models e.g. DJI Let go the sticks and it just sits there like on a pole. The downside for some with these more sophisticated models is the dependence on a smartphone app before you can even start it the first time.
Lordy..why do they have to make it harder to buy and use them? I don't have a smart phone..I'll look around..thx for the reply..
On edit..I checked out a site describing what the smart phones can do for the flying experience...looks like for video , I'd need one..unless I get one with a controller that has a video screeen..
