North Central Iowa | I wanted to share some pictures of a trial I am doing with Rantizo. We used a DJI Agras drone upfitted by Rantizo to broadcast a small seeded cover crop mix in drown out areas a couple weeks ago.
I was amazed how quick the drone could spread these small patches with 10-20 pounds of seed. The rain and sun since broadcasting have been a great start. The goal is to test the viability of using a drone for this, increase water infiltration, and hold back weeds.
