Normally one wouldn't need drone education on proper anti-collision, or navigation lighting schemes since it's illegal to fly a drone in hours of darkness unless you get a waiver. I believe the waivers for night flying are single-purpose & not open-ended. So, it doesn't seem that a good knowledge of aircraft lighting would be necessary for any drone owner.

But, most multi-prop drones fly omni-directional equally well. Not sure if the old "red-right-returning" cliche would work.

I think Lume Cube is just selling anti-collision stuff & not navigation lights for drones. Of course anti-collision can be either white or "aircraft red" in color for certified aircraft. Beacon or strobe type.

But of course, if it's a fixed wing drone, that's a different story I suppose. Not sure on their night waivers.
