I bought mine last August and have had very good results using the Pro 2. Haven't had it in the air since last November but that will change soon. Overall, the quick setup/launch process and compact size has been a big advantage over the Phantom platform. Flight time and stability are very good. The incremental improvements on flight control and camera are all positive. This platform makes me a better pilot than my hours of flight time reflect. I know that can get me in trouble in some situations, but I have been able to fly this unit where I would not have flown before. Haven't used a third party camera.
I have a P3 with old software yet that doesn’t limit flights very much.
What are the new processes as far as flying and registering and restrictions and forced landings? Or setting up in different locations and go fly?
I hear a lot of rumors of all that with the newer software, to where it’s hard to fly.
My farm is just barely 5 miles from an airport, and I enjoy scouting some friends and relatives farms that are closer to airports than that.
