| My fertilizer dealer stores all of his bulk fertilize in a barn with dividers and when you purchase fertilize they take the skid loader and scoop out what you want, this is great and works good but I am concerned that the ammonia nitrate is exposed ( only three sides and the roof) and the longer it sets there it is loosing the ammonia into the atmosphere? The last fertilize I got which was NPK just hasn't done the job and I was wondering if the fertilize had lost it's strength. I am not sure about the P&K can they loose their strength if they are stored this way? Maybe I need to go out of town and see if I can find a dealer that stores his fertilize in enclosed bins. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated since fertilize is so expensive and there is no need to be fertilizing the atmosphere and putting filler out on the ground. Thanks | |
