IL | I have a waterway cutting a ditch on a rented farm. The ditch is 2' wide, 30" deep for the bottom 150' of the waterway ( which is 80' wide, 120 yds long). The farm manager wants to haul in a tandem load of rock to help hold it. My question is, what it the best way to repair this, before placing the rock? Blade the gully in? Scoop out the dirt to the bottom of the wash with a scraper? I figured on placing the rock a couple places in "dikes" to help slow the water.
