NW Missouri | Had a bearing go out - it was out far enough by the time I noticed it that I just took the tire/wheel/hub off the spindle and set it by the field entrance and kept disking, eventually ending up about a mile away. I came back to get the tire/wheel/hub a couple hours later and some fine person had already taken care of that for me. So I am now in search of a used hub for a JD 235. I haven't priced one the dealership yet, but I'm going to assume they want an arm and leg for one.
That kind of stuff doesn't normally happen around here (NW MO) - if I had any inkling that it would walk off, I could have easily thrown it on the frame of the disk and taken it with me. Lesson learned.
