Baldwin City, KS | I don't know alot about spraying and chemicals so this could be an old hat question. I have noticed in alot of fields around here that there are beans turning yellow. As far as I can tell it is in fields that were recently sprayed and appears to be in the overspray areas, point rows and just general not getting shut off in time spots. I have never really noticed this before.
It has been hot and dry here for quite some time. I didn't notice the problem on beans that I sprayed around the 4th with 28 oz touchdown and .375 Synchrony XP. I have some more spraying to do when this rain gets out of here and wondered if I will run into the same thing. I have some bigger weeds to deal with in some other fields and will be using 32 oz touchdown alone.
I can get a little sloppy with the sprayer sometimes and have to think that I would have seen this in my own fields if it's an overspray issue, but I don't know what else it could be. Thanks for the input. | |
