North Western Alberta | Checking my wheat tonight, for the thousandth time, and there were some little bugs, baby little thing, kind of living in the wheat head. They were just babies, but kinda orange, so I think they might have been baby midge. The wheat is starting to firm up, out of the dough stage, so I dont think there is an issue. And, there was only one head I found like that. I took it apart, and the wheat in the head wasnt damaged. Still, Im surprised that if they are midge, that they are this far north. | |
