t rock - 12/16/2015 08:33 anybody used one while checking calving pastures for calves to tag ---or moving cattle ?

We did a few times in a pasture close to the farm....the drone (dji 3)makes a bit of noise and puts the cattle "on alert"

Get too close and they were moving away.

I really do think it will work if they get more used to it.

Our horses were unimpressed, though...could fly real close to them before they started getting nervous.

I think the biggest obstacle is flying in all kinds of wind....15 mph and above might not be good.
