Moisture got down to the high 12's and low 13's so we got things organized and got the new to us 2388 wound up for our 1st time ever using a rotary for any kind of harvesting. Pic 1. The machine runs surprisingly well and was pretty easy to adjust once we got the thing figured out. This is a '03 model pushing a 30' 1020 head. Had a little problem with the rpm adjustment for the rotor and come to discover wire was broke leading to the actuator that changes the pulley size, simple fix and away we went. Pic 2 . Not sure about this , but is there a tube extension for the unloading auger. This one seems a little short to me. Anybody ever add an extension? Pic 3 Was sitting in the truck and was struck by how small the windshield is on this '06 KW. Reminds me of those old B-model Macks, I started out on so many years ago. Pic 4 This is one of those fancy auto-shifts, still need to clutch for starting and stopping. Note the air is on full blast. Pic 5 My nephew and driver fixing to break his neck up on the trailer, while my son waits for it to happen. This is a '87 R-model mack, rock jock special - mack 12 speed w/ 350 mack engine . Was quite the setup back in the day, but kind of a dog now but at least the air works. Thanks for looking--- Greg
