IL
I am working that direction. What I would like to be doing eventually is, (plan A) making strips in fall between the old stalks rows, with the NH3 bar. Then in the spring "dressing up" the strips with the Dawn pluribus bar, putting down some starter with it ahead of the planter. >200hp tractor is all that would be required. (Plan B)is , if Nh3 ever goes out the window of feasibilty, Using the Dawn bar to put down 28% or urea a few days ahead of the planter. The reason I bring Dawn into my plan is that I liked the way it cleared and tilled a nice path between the rows. Presently "here", NH3 is still the N of choice, which I want on in the late fall. Just works that way here.
