Subject: Let her breath!!

Valley, NE
like stated earlier open up the exhaust and drop in a k/n air filter or open filter system... i noticed the biggest difference in mileage, and power and just plain how the truck ran when i straight piped and k/n air filter...... then i added the edge evolution programmer(i always leave it set at 80 hp) and that increased my mileage too.....97 power stroke f-250 4x4 supercab long box and i get easy 17- 18 going down the road........gets roughly 13-15 pulling a trailer, which isnt very often

our 2002 7.3 crewcab dually has a dr. performance module, complete AFE cold air intake, 5 in straight pipe and get 19-20 mpg running empty down the interstate, it never got above 16-17mpg before the modifacations this summer.........Pulling a trailer is a different story i wish we could break 13 pulling....probably would if i took my foot out it........

Ford has the most restricted exhaust of any diesel on the market, the downpipe is a good spot to start too
just my thoughts, let her breath
