Subject: Tim, are 5' soybeans common with irragation?

I'm just wondering!
In the central IL. our sbs don't normally get more than 3' tall unless we have way to much rain. If we have that much rain they don't yield worth a dang, all growth no pods. Here it seems like they need some stress to produce the best yields.
There's an old saying here:" they don't like their feet wet very long"

Good Luck
