I would go and see the dealers manager and have a good talk with him about it. You should get somthing out of him regarding the flange, whether they strip it right out and get it hot welded back on, you shouldn't have to put up with damage!! As regards the main job I would only pay for parts and certainly not for shoddy labour. The dealer should be insured for this anyway. I am pretty calm but may have lost my rag with this one!!! You are paying the dealer good money for a service, the tec not knowing about the hydro seals is a lame one as they should have had a job sheet.
I would try the dealer to cover everything especially since they have damaged the casting.
