Subject: one more thing

Flandreau, SD
One fella said that anybody can make a black strip, but to make a sucessful strip till work, you need to take the time a put your fertilizer in the right spot.

I thought that said alot.

I believe U of M said you can cut P and K rates in half if banded and but not N.

I think one of the slides said "fertility needs do not change with tillage practice." The crop still needs what it needs.

I beleive all there studies showed about a even yeild between strips and conventional tilled ground. Just that the strips are more profitable with the reduced inputs.

Still-learning, you sound close to me, where are you at I would like to look at your Warrior!!
