| I live in Western Indiana where I just put up the only pivot around here. Thus I don't have anyone to talk to here about some basic irrigation principles.
I bought an N injector, how late is too late to inject some N on and how much do you normally inject? I do have some yellowing on some sand knobs that are tasseling right now.
Is it too late to green these up?
How much total N do you apply on irrigated fields? I have less than 1% organic matter blow sands. So I get little N from the soil itself.
I appreciate anyone's input for a rookie.
