Ron, I think many of the experts felt like the rust threat was overblown. Sadly though, there were but a few who would publicly say so. I guees it's a sign of the times. In todays politically correct world, one can no longer call a spade a spade. The repurcussions are just too severe if you happen to be wrong.

One person who was not afraid to tell it like it is is Ann Dorrance from Ohio State University. I've been following her commentary on rust for over a year now and she has always spoke candidly on the subject. Others would do well to follow her example.
