Subject: RE: Potassium deficient soybeans

I have no credentials or data to give an informed reply to your question but my crop consultant told me of a similar situation he had when he was an agronomist for a COOP elevator. A client had a field with a soil sample that called for potassium but the farmer said he didn't need it and planted it to soybeans. Later the field seemed lacking something so the agronomist sprinkled some dry by hand in an out of site area of the field to see if there was any reaction and he said it looked way good after a very short time period. He showed the farmer what he had done and the next year everything got spread. I'm not sure the best way to treat an entire field would be though. Best of luck whatever you do.
