That's where this Oregon ryegrass is interesting, Bruce. Jules and I heard a lot of discussion about it in St. Louis in January and all the farmers and researchers named about 10 benefits and no real problem. I know some people are scared to death of glyphosate resistance but read the threads below and that is one of the least of my worries. The elimination of viable SCN eggs was one of the greatest benefits talked about that interested me so those roots do disrupt insect life cycles. If you decide to plant some this fall let us know what you find out on the grub problems. I hate grubs...
