How many acres will you cover? If your wheat acreage is relatively small you might consider doubling back to give you 7.5in rows. I will find this thread interesting as Im HOPING to trade the drill off for a planter for the same reasons you did. I would be planting either 10 or 20 in beans, but the wheat issue is whats bothering me as well.From what Ive found on the net, going to 10in rows will cost 5% in wheat yield ( the tests were down with 10 in drill though.soooo does better placement with a planter negate the yield loss???). Some have also posted that going wider then 7.5 in will almost guarantee a need to spray for weeds in the wheat? Who knows??
