We have been spraying (July 6&7) corn just like you have described. Personally I'd rather be a little early than late. The early pollinating plants are probably the healthiest plants and they have the greatest potential to save some yield, so I like to get them protected. Personal experience here would indicate 10 days to 2wk residual from 1pt Penncap-M depending on wx conditions. Warrior rep wants 3.2oz + 0.5pt Malathion (for knockdown) and is claiming 2wk residual.
