How much moisture did you get after planting? I went to an if furrow application on Aztec vs. the norm of banding. I have proven locally to several to switch to the in furrow because of problems with wind and getting the moisture to activate it and carry it through the root zone. What kind of planter do you have? If you still have banders that can make a difference in the drop of the insecticide. JD banders make the best pattern if this is what you use followed by Kinze. The CIH bander is terrible for rootworm control because unlike the others it does not put a majority of the product in the center of the band, in fact the centers are blocked out.

I'm with Boog also with relative yield on corn on corn. It was my best.....reason still unknown. Guesses are that the RW varient is laying the majority of eggs in soybeans???? More tilliage on the stalks.
