Subject: Re: Diesel pickup chip question

Berrien County Michigan
Well i've only been running my Superchip for about a month and am pleased with it. It did change the shift points. I have yet to pull anything with it but i can tell u when u push the pedal it'll drop 2 gears and go! Now i wouldn't consider a programmer whether for a gas or diesal unless u open up the air intake and ehxuast. My brother has a Jet programmer for his Chevy 4.8L truck, his truck responded great to the programmer. Chevy PCM's are alot easier to modify compared to dodge's so you'll see more response from a programmer with a Chevy vechicle. One thing you have to remember also with a gas motor you'll have to run premium gas to get the most power out of with a programmer.
