West Texas

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Rich.
But ain't it fun???Laughing Spending quality time with the kids.

I guess I've been lucky. Never really been kicked hard by a steer or heifer. Haven't been kicked by sheep either by you don't have to get kicked by them to get hurt. Been jumped on, stomped on and knocked down enough by them to say that they can be harder tp break then steers/heifers. Pigs? Just plain don't like them except for in my plate!

Always started with steers by tieing them to the fence. Lead them to feed and water and tie them back up.
A week of that and usually they knew what was going on.  Still had rodeo every once in a while though.

My kids have really enjoyed 4-H and made friends all over the state of Texas.
