Lapel, In
On open center hydrauilic system will work, but as a bottom trips back then you have recharge the system. Not the best ,but it will work. The other alternative is to find an old plow with an accumulator.Parts availablity couuld doom your plans. I would look for an IHC 720 or a White 588 if I ever neeed a plow.
Short story: bought a 2500 hyd reset to replace a 350 that burned in a barn fire.A couple years later a cylinder failed.Someone has gotten a chip brush caught under the o-ring which caused the failure.Deere refused to make an adjustment and the big kicker was a replacement cylinder was $285(about 1980) which was nothing more than a 3"X8" with special ends welded on.I kindly wrote back and told Deere that I would never buy a Deere plow again. But I reneged on the deal a few months ago as I bought a nice 3-14 620 pull type for my antique tractors.
