Subject: odds and ends of trip south

nw pa
Just returned from a trip to NC to pick up the grand kids for a week. While we were there we went to the threshermans reunion. It is an annual event that focus;'s on farming from the past.Had working models of some things I had never seen. A baler powered by one horse.took one man forking into it and two men to tie the bales. Was slow proccess to be sure but it worked. Also had a six horse ring powering a corn sheller and a thrashing machine. Also had any and every part you could imagine for older tractors plus had a conservative five hundred on display. All were in show room condition.
That plus a few games for the kids and a working steam locomotive ,steam shovels etc. it was an enjoying day although a little warm for the northern blood. With plenty of food and ice cream stands it kept you cool
Ever get down to Denton NC I would reccommend it highly
