Chebanse, IL.....

Pat, can't tell exactly where you're at from your dot. But-we were driving down to Cerro Gordo (near Decatur IL) on Friday. Unbelievable amounts of beetles down in that area. It was like getting peppered w/gravel driving on highway when they hit windshield.

I'd watch the silks when they shoot. Not sure if you're in CRW area, but you can suddenly enter a double whammy. Jap beetles AND CRW beetles will compete for silks. You can make your own decision, but they sure have to hurt pollination. I'd do some pricing on application & products in your area to get ready for big decision.
