Subject: RE: lumax

Urbandale Ia, (but originally from SE IA)
First year I've used Lumax, have been happy with Callisto in the past, so thought I'd try Lumax this year.
It worked great in my no-till fields as low rate burndown/preplant. Some fields stayed clean and didn't use any follow up, others just touched up some places with a few escapes.
On some fields, especially ones that are tough to post spray, I've been using RR corn and then spraying with R'up and Harness XTRA when the corn is about 4-5 leaf. Corn is pretty forgiving at that stage and then I got longer residual out of the pre-mix than if it had been put on at or before planting. Tried to use the same program this year, but switched to Lumax due to the waterhemp pressure.
