after a cold wet spring it has turned hot and dry, but we recieved a good rain sunday so moisture is good right now. A lot of corn is starting to tassel and a lot lot of it is about shoulder high and shorter. Looks like the coons won't have to break the stalks to eat the corn this year but will have to travel a lot to get their bellies full.
