Even if we buy cheaper generic glyphosate, the big M is still getting the tech fee. Yes, RR crops is more convenient but it almost seems like the guys in Chicago think it is so easy we don't have to work making real low grain prices. Here is another view, what would grain prices be if we didn't have RR seed? People couldn't afford the fuel for tillage, tillage would remove alot of extra moisture making drought conditions even worse and then there is those crusting problems on tilled ground in spring after a big rain. Farmers aren't being paid enough for providing the world with food so why should we pay "that extra bit more" for research because higher yielding crop is just going to drop futures even more.
