I often use tile water or water from a shallow well ( 35' deep ) , and when I do, I only add 2 qts of 28 or 32 to the mix. I use cheap generics and add landoil soy oil if there is a need for quick rainfast. Never have experienced a failure doing it this way. If I use hard or chorinated water or high PH water, I treat it accordingly. jeff
