Better let the rye get dead dry and it could still mold in those bins. I would keep some air on it some way if I could if I harvested it at 13% or over. You get grain to 10-11% and it seems to store pretty well, the farther you go over 13% the harder it is to keep in condition.

They swathe it in the west and let it air dry.

If it is dry and you can combine it when it is warm or hot and low humidity, it should work.
