I'm almost certain your numbers for snr VS EZ antenna "tip angle" will not look nealy as good as true choke ring L1 antenna, but it will be interesting to see what numbers you get. Choke ring antennas are used on most DGPS ground reference stations but not many Precision Ag receivers come with choke ring antenna, they are very costy.

Just for comparison, here is link to paper that shows several graphics of snr VS elevation angle for Trimble and Ashtech L1/L2 band choke ring antennas.
