Isn't the elevation of a satellite for for masking purposes a calculated value? I don't think there is anything in the receiver that is measuring the actual elevation from the receiver... it is just a calculated value. I don't know... but I'm sceptical of the elevation mask being impacted by receiver angle. That would imply that slope operation would be a larger problem than it is, wouldn't it?
