Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
I'm sure it doesn't make it taste great, but cattle don't seem to mind. Our irrigation canals here are full of moss, algae, little green bugs, little green tadpoles, etc. Everything you can think of to make it nasty. It will actually coat the grass if you flood irrigate with a big head of water that covers the grass. Stinks as well.

Now all of my pastures have water troughs in them with nice clean well water. When the irrigation water is running guess what they drink? Seems they like the green stuff. I've seen cows out on the range literally drinking mud, when the have fresh water available. Not saying it is great for them, but it sure doesn't seem to hurt them.
