SE Nebraska | I wanted a bigger screen also but wanted it to be inexpensive. You might look into an Itronix IX250 laptop. I got a used one on ebay for $290 with shipping. 850 meg processor, 256 ram, 20 gig hard drive, 12.1 inch color touch screen. They claim that you can drop it on concrete from three feet and spray water on it (I don't think that I will try that). It has one 9 pin out the back, 1 usb, and one pcmcia port. Mounting will be more of a challenge than a tablet because of the key board. I think that it will be a lot easier to see the variety maps in the combine with the bigger screen vs the Ipaq. | |
