Look at the list of ingredients on the bag of dog food. They will be ranked with the highest percentages fist. If the first one is some kind of grain (usually corn), stop buying it and find one that the first one is meat or meat byproducts. Some dogs scratch a lot if the diet has grain as the main ingredient.
