I agree. I just made such a relay for a customer this week. When Pins A & C are connected together the acre counter and other associated events start.

The Trimble documentation shows using a relay so that this could be controlled by another device. In my customer's situation he wanted the acre counter to start/stop with another switch that he used for a fertilizer clutch.

We could have used a double pole switch instead of his single pole switch. That way the "new half" could run the EZ Guide. He didn't want to take his switch out so we just used a relay that was activated by the fertilizer clutch.
