Subject: Another thought about interference

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have a second cable attached to Port B of the 332 which could go to another GPS device.

This is the standard Trimble Data cable with power. At the time I was planting corn and had the Noisy 1 PPC faults, this cable was plugged into Port B but not hooked to power or a GPS device. Port A was supplying the power and outputting the GPS to the Nav Controller and eventually the Insight.

On a Trimble, power and ground IN can be supplied by either port. By testing I found that if power is supplied via Port A that Power is available on the cable attached to Port B. I'm wondering if this "loose" cable could be a acting as an antenna of sorts and allow "Noise" in.

The simple solution of course is to just un plug it from Port B as I'm not using it for anything at this time.
