| ...you see some of youths more embarrassing moments, of which you put behind you, being lived out live in the youth today. I went to town for a few items. Once inside town, I saw on the sidewalk, a male human (not yet deserving to be called man), about 16-17 years old maybe, leaning against a post in the usual Van Damme pose being super tough guy. A short distance away, say 50 feet or so, a young woman, about the same age, size triple extra hefty, was on her knees crying and yelling at the male. On one hand, I felt bad, as I know too well how those hormones at that age can really do a number on ones emotions when one "thinks" they are in love. On the other hand, I felt very happy that those days are long gone behind me. For me, this made getting older much easier to look forward to. If someone sees me leaning against a post, looking a bit tough around the edges, it would be a good time to call the M.X. instead of the J.O.P. |
