Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | Ted, I'm not hydraulic expert but I did talk to 2 "coworkers" that have some hydraulics experience. After reading both of your posts they both said "if Trimble's hydraulic valve isn't self purging then Trimble should have install procedure that explains how to purge air after installation. They said it is (almost) impossible to install hydraulic valve without getting some air in line/valve. They also said that you might have gotten a bad (infant mortality failure) valve from Trimble for your install, they suggested swapping it out with another for trial. I guess that puts my coworkers in your coworker's camp, but doesn't mean they are "right".
