Don - it sounds as if your 660 is programmed in SP1 (wheel magnets) rather than SP2 (radar type signals.)

To check your current settings press and hold the Self-Test key. The initial settings that are in effect will scroll by. You would want to see US (US measurements of acres, gallons etc.) SP2 (for a radar type signal that the EZ-Guide puts out) and possibly some other choices depending on the age of the console.

The fact that you got speed across is encouraging. The Raven console applies a factor of 100 to the SP2 settings vs the SP1 settings. My guess is that if you had chosen a speed cal of "6" you would have had a somewhat accurate reading. Changing to SP2 will allow you to fine tune the speed.
