Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I'm not endorsing the radio that I mentioned above but it does have some clever featurers. I have tested it with SD cards, Jumpdrives, commerical CDs and a home burned CD full of MP3s.
The home burned CD that I tried had all the songs in the Root Directory. The system will apparently only access the first 99 songs. I have a cheap DVD/CD player for a home system that behaves that way also. On that one if you let it go on its own it will play the rest of the songs, but you can't access them as you might like. Putting the songs in folders might be a solution.
I have zero actual field time with the radio and have only tested some of the functions in the yard.
I have no experience with AM radio reception. This is a non-issue for me personally but may be important to others.
The radio is built quite lightly and may not last well in farm service.
It cost about $80, which included a remote. It did not include any memory cards.
