I have customers running the Mid-Tech Tilt Sensor with the Field Pilot II AutoSteer system and it seems to work great. You are correct it is designed to help with roll.

I also have customer running this sensor with Farm Works Site Mate and Guide Mate and a older Cultiva System. It is a very basic sensor NMEA in Tilt Corrected NMEA out. (You need a Mid-Tech or Farm Works to Calibrate it)
