It crossed slightly lower yesterday. If the markets move lower today it will confirm that bias which is contra seasonal but there is a big S.A. corn crop now competing.

Where do we go from here? I suspect we will trade in the range illustrated on the weekly chart between 4.40 and 2.90 until something vaults us out of either side. A movement back into the 3.00 to 3.20 area or a cross of the macd higher this spring would be a good place to buy so called courage calls.
It is very possible with a big crop this summer that we test 2.90 on the downside in either Aug or oct/nov. Make sure you have crop insurance in place and consider acre and sure. I plan and prepare for the worst and hope for much better.
